Day 7: (Monday, February 10)

Brunch: Two hard boiled eggs.

Afternoon: Creamed spinach with artichokes, vegetable vinagrette (cucumbers, tomatoes, onions in a .. vinagrette. Yes, I am master of suspense), Oriental green beans (aka green beans in sesame oil) at Chicken Out Rotiserrie. Not very tasty... green beans were not very tender, and a bit diet unkosher (they're not on the list of Happy Fun Vegetables I can eat), veggies were ehh. I liked the creamed spinach though. The food isn't bad, just not worth spending money on. The thing that annoys me about this restaurant is that it touts being 'low-fat,' so all of the dishes are like.. vegetables & bread/pasta with the other alternative being like.. a Whole Roasted Chicken, or Giant Grilled Chicken Breast or something similar, which is just gross. There's no such thing as meat in moderation, apparently. Stupid buttermilk biscuit! Don't give me a biscuit on the side! (It's kinda funny.. I had a three-side special, which is a lunch of side-dishes only, so that biscuit was like a side to a meal of sides.) I kinnae eat it.. I'm bringing so much stuff home to my family now it's not even funny (chocolate, pancakes, biscuits..) Biscuit, I hate you.

Dinner: Pork cutlet, bok choi.

Day 8: (Tuesday, February 11)

Breakfast: One hard boiled egg.

Lunch: Beef kapow, garden salad (at Tara Asia). This place annoys me because I don't really know how to pay at a "real" restaurant. You know, the type without counters and trays.

Afternoon: One hardboiled egg, celery.

Dinner: Pork cutlet, shrimp.

Day 9: (Wednesday, February 12)

Brunch: Two hard boiled eggs, mushrooms Alix gave me.

Afternoon: Chicken fajita omlette (omlette with salsa, cheese, chicken, maybe peppers?) I wish IHOP would serve its omlettes without pancakes as a side so I wouldn't have to keep smelling them as I brought them home in a carryout box. I told the waitress no pancakes and she was like huh? You want toast? Waffles? Crepes? Sausage? All of which I couldn't eat anyways, and I'd feel stupid ordering eggs on the side for an omlette, you know. (Cuz it's like, are you trying to clog your arteries?) Anyhow, I think the concept of no pancakes at a pancake house was boggling her mind and rather dangerous and frightening to one such as herself (High Priestess of the Pancake Order), so I ordered them anyways to preserve her sanity. Also, the annoying thing about IHOP is that all of its omlettes basically come with hashbrowns, which I can't eat, and all of its non-omlette dishes come with bread stuff (ala French toast, waffles, pancakes, etc). Meat and potatoes, veggies and bread.. (the Chicken Out Rotiserrie Low Fat curse) .. you can't escape the evil duo.

Dinner: Braised fish, mushrooms. I was trying to experiment with a no vegetable day, cuz I'm a bit tired of salad. Watch me not being able to go to the bathroom.

Accumulated Poundage Lost: Changes day to day. Estimate at 6.5 - 7.5. Well, I've dropped the pound-a-day thing, damn. I guess I shouldn't be disappointed.
